Night shots, Palma

Palma’s Plaça Major

Palma takes on a magical glow whenever the sky fades and the street lamps flash on. A stroll at dusk is a must for anyone who loves this witching hour of brilliant blues and soft yellows. I happily wandered around shooting the following night shots:

Palma’s Caixa Forum is housed in the grand ‘ole Gran Hotel de Palma

The light in this alleyway beckons wanderers to….

…Palma’s small Plaça Major

In Plaça d’Espanya, a gathering point for any night out

The other side of the same plaza (or, should I say,  plaça)

A statue to Jaime I in Plaça d’Espanya

If you ever find yourself in Palma de Mallorca, you better take a stroll at night. Bonus points for sitting terrace-side.

  1. I love these photos! I visited Mallorca two years ago and had a great time (although, sadly, I left my camera’s memory card in the hotel when we went into Palma, so I didn’t get any photos). Hopefully I can go back this year, since there are often great deals between Madrid and Palma!

    Thanks, Kirstie!

That is such a shame about your memory card–was your camera still in your bag?

  3. I had my camera, but I think I had taken the card out to upload photos to my computer! Grr.

  4. Beautiful Photos! One of the beautiful places in Spain.
